Biography
Mele is a professional basketball athlete known for her remarkable skills as a guard. Born in 1995 in Chicago, Illinois, she rose to prominence during her high school career at Lincoln Park High School, where she averaged over 25 points per game and earned All-State honors. Her exceptional performance garnered the attention of several collegiate programs, leading her to play at the University of Southern California (USC).
During her collegiate career at USC from 2013 to 2017, Mele became a key player for the Trojans, helping the team reach the NCAA Tournament in each of her four years. She was recognized for her scoring ability and defensive prowess, earning All-Pac-12 First Team honors in her senior year. Following her graduation, she declared for the WNBA Draft, where she was selected in the second round by the Seattle Storm.
