Moses Malone was an American professional basketball player, widely regarded as one of the greatest centers in the history of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Born on March 23, 1955, in Petersburg, Virginia, Malone began his athletic career in high school before opting to enter professional basketball directly from high school. He gained prominence as a dominant force in the paint, renowned for his rebounding ability, scoring touch, and tenacious defensive play.
Malone's NBA career spanned 21 seasons, during which he played for several teams, including the Houston Rockets, Philadelphia 76ers, and Atlanta Hawks.
