Adam Archuleta is a former American football safety born on November 27, 1977, in Los Angeles, California. He played college football at Arizona State University, where he was recognized for his exceptional athleticism and defensive skills, earning unanimous All-American honors in 1999. Archuleta was selected by the St. Louis Rams with the 20th overall pick in the first round of the 2001 NFL Draft.
During his NFL career, Archuleta played for the St. Louis Rams (2001–2005), Washington Redskins (2006), and the Chicago Bears (2007). He is notable for his strong performances during his tenure with the Rams, contributing to the team's defense and playing a pivotal role in their Super Bowl appearance in 2001. Archuleta was known for his versatility, intelligence on the field, and outstanding tackling ability, which culminated in a career-high 118 tackles in the 2003 season.
