Biography
Adam Clendening is an American ice hockey defenseman born on October 26, 1992, in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. He played junior hockey for the Bloomington Thunder in the USHL before advancing to collegiate play with the University of Denver, where he was recognized for his offensive skills and solid defensive play. Clendening was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the second round, 36th overall, of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
Clendening made his professional debut with the Rockford IceHogs, the Blackhawks' AHL affiliate, where he quickly garnered attention for his playmaking abilities. He later joined the NHL, playing for teams such as the Chicago Blackhawks, Vancouver Canucks, and the New Jersey Devils, accumulating over 100 games of NHL experience. His experience in multiple leagues, including the AHL and KHL, further cemented his reputation as a versatile defenseman.
