Biography
Adam Mair (born February 15, 1979) is a former Canadian professional ice hockey forward known for his tenacious playing style and leadership qualities. He was selected 50th overall in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft by the Los Angeles Kings after a notable junior career with the Belleville Bulls in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). Mair made his NHL debut during the 2000-01 season and subsequently played for several teams, including the Kings, the Buffalo Sabres, and the New Jersey Devils.
Throughout his NHL career, Mair was valued for his grit and defensive play, often serving as a reliable third- or fourth-line player. He achieved significant success during his time with the Buffalo Sabres, contributing to the team's run to the Eastern Conference Finals in 2006 and the Stanley Cup Playoffs in multiple seasons. Over his 11-year career in the NHL, he accumulated more than 250 points and appeared in over 600 regular-season games.
