Ademir da Guia, born on April 3, 1942, in São Paulo, Brazil, is a former professional footballer recognized for his exceptional skills as a midfielder. He spent the majority of his career at Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras, where he became a pivotal figure during the 1960s and 1970s. Da Guia made his professional debut in 1959 and went on to become one of the club's all-time greats, achieving a record of over 300 appearances and scoring more than 100 goals.
