Adrian Aucoin, born on July 3, 1973, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, is a retired professional ice hockey defenseman known for his impactful presence in the National Hockey League (NHL). Drafted 117th overall by the Vancouver Canucks in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft, Aucoin made his NHL debut during the 1994-1995 season. He also played for the New York Islanders, Tampa Bay Lightning, Chicago Blackhawks, and the Calgary Flames over his 16-year career.
One of Aucoin's career highlights includes the achievement of being named an NHL All-Star in 2004, recognizing his skills as a top defenseman.
