Biography
Adrianne Slaughter is a retired American professional basketball player known for her impactful career in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and her contributions to women's basketball at various competitive levels. Born on March 12, 1991, in Atlanta, Georgia, Slaughter played college basketball at the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned All-American honors and led her team to the NCAA tournament in multiple seasons. Following her collegiate success, she was selected as the 8th overall pick in the 2013 WNBA Draft by the New York Liberty.
Throughout her WNBA career, Slaughter played for several teams, including the New York Liberty, Los Angeles Sparks, and Chicago Sky, accumulating over 3,000 points and 1,500 rebounds.
