Ajhanai Newton is a professional basketball athlete known for her exceptional skills on the court and her contributions to the sport. Born on July 14, 1995, in Atlanta, Georgia, Newton gained recognition during her high school career at Norcross High School, where she led her team to a state championship and received numerous accolades, including All-State and All-Region honors.
Following her success in high school, Newton played collegiate basketball at the University of Connecticut, where she was a pivotal member of the team's dynamic offense. Throughout her college career, she was recognized as a first-team All-American and helped lead her team to multiple NCAA tournament appearances, culminating in a national championship win in 2017.
