Biography
Ajith Weerakkody, born on October 1, 1970, in Colombo, Sri Lanka, is a former professional cricketer renowned for his contributions to the sport during the 1990s. As a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler, he played a pivotal role in various domestic tournaments and represented Sri Lanka in international matches. His early cricketing education at St. Joseph's College, Colombo, laid the groundwork for a career that would see him become an integral part of Sri Lanka’s emerging cricketing landscape.
