Al Fassnacht is a former professional basketball player known for his significant contributions to the sport during the 1980s and 1990s. Born on June 12, 1963, in Dayton, Ohio, Fassnacht gained prominence as a versatile guard. He played collegiate basketball at the University of Cincinnati, where he was recognized for his scoring ability and defensive prowess, leading the team to multiple NCAA tournament appearances.
After college, Fassnacht was selected as a second-round pick in the 1985 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks.
