Al MacInnis, born on July 11, 1963, in Inverness, Nova Scotia, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey player renowned for his exceptional skills as a defenseman. He was drafted 15th overall in the 1981 NHL Entry Draft by the Calgary Flames.
