Biography
Al Ricci is a former professional basketball player known for his exceptional skills as a guard and forward. Born on March 15, 1985, in Chicago, Illinois, Ricci gained prominence during his collegiate career at the University of Illinois, where he earned All-American honors and led the team to multiple NCAA tournament appearances.
Upon graduating, Ricci was selected in the second round of the 2007 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors. During his six-year tenure in the NBA, he played for the Warriors, as well as the Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs, achieving an average of 12 points and 5 rebounds per game. Ricci was recognized for his scoring ability and defensive tenacity, earning him a place on the NBA All-Defensive Team in 2011.
After retiring from professional play, Ricci transitioned into coaching, where he influenced the development of young talents.
