Al Tolen is a former professional basketball athlete known for his exceptional skills as a forward. Born on March 15, 1985, in Chicago, Illinois, Tolen showcased his talent early in his career, earning All-State honors during his high school years at Whitney Young High School. He continued his basketball journey at the University of Kentucky, where he was a key player in the Wildcats' 2004 NCAA Tournament run, contributing to their Elite Eight appearance.
After collegiate success, Tolen was selected in the second round of the 2007 NBA Draft by the New Jersey Nets. He played three seasons in the NBA, averaging 8.5 points and 4.2 rebounds per game while also spending time with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the NBA Development League.
