Al Treado is a retired professional basketball player renowned for his versatility on the court and his significant contributions to the game during the 1990s and early 2000s. Born on March 15, 1975, in Chicago, Illinois, Treado attended the University of North Carolina, where he garnered All-American honors and led the Tar Heels to an NCAA Championship in 1997. Following his successful college career, he was selected as the 12th overall pick in the 1998 NBA Draft by the Miami Heat.
