Al Zvinakis is a retired professional basketball player known for his impact in both collegiate and professional basketball. Born on January 15, 1985, in Chicago, Illinois, Zvinakis showcased his talent as a shooting guard during his high school career at Oak Park-River Forest High School, where he earned All-State honors. He went on to play collegiate basketball at the University of Illinois, where he was a key member of the team that reached the NCAA tournament's Final Four in 2005.
Zvinakis was selected in the second round of the 2007 NBA Draft by the San Antonio Spurs, marking the beginning of a five-year professional career in the NBA and overseas.
