Alan Ameche, born on June 1, 1933, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, was an American football player who made a significant impact in the National Football League (NFL). He played as a fullback for the Baltimore Colts from 1955 to 1960. Ameche was known for his powerful running style and ability to gain tough yards, which helped him earn the NFL Rookie of the Year award in 1955.
During his notable career, Ameche achieved several highlights, including being selected to the Pro Bowl in 1958 and 1959.
