Alan Haworth, born on January 9, 1960, in North Vancouver, British Columbia, is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player known for his versatility as a forward. He played junior hockey in the Western Hockey League (WHL) before being selected 83rd overall by the New York Islanders in the 1980 NHL Draft. Haworth’s career spanned over a decade, during which he played for various teams in the National Hockey League (NHL) and the American Hockey League (AHL).
Haworth made his NHL debut with the New York Islanders during the 1981-82 season, contributing to the team's success. He also played for the Vancouver Canucks and the Minnesota North Stars, showcasing his skills as a two-way player.
