Alan Jordan is a retired professional basketball player born on March 15, 1985, in Atlanta, Georgia. A standout at Oakwood High School, he gained national attention for his scoring ability and athleticism, leading to a scholarship at the University of North Carolina. During his collegiate career, Jordan was instrumental in helping the Tar Heels secure an NCAA championship in 2006, earning All-American honors in his junior year.
In 2007, Jordan declared for the NBA Draft and was selected 15th overall by the Denver Nuggets. Over his ten-season career in the NBA, he played for the Nuggets, Miami Heat, and the Golden State Warriors, achieving career averages of 18.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game. Notable achievements include being named an NBA All-Star in 2011 and leading the league in three-point shooting percentage in the 2013 season.
