Biography
Alan Kortokrax is a retired professional basketball player known for his exceptional skills as a point guard. Born on March 12, 1985, in Chicago, Illinois, he rose through the ranks of high school basketball, earning All-American honors before committing to play college basketball at the University of North Carolina. During his college career, Kortokrax led the Tar Heels to a national championship in 2006 and was named the NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player.
Following his successful collegiate career, Kortokrax was selected in the first round of the 2007 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers. Over the course of his ten-year professional career, he played for several teams, including the Lakers, the Miami Heat, and the San Antonio Spurs, earning two NBA championships and being named an All-Star three times. Known for his exceptional court vision and leadership, Kortokrax averaged 15.7 points and 7.2 assists per game over his career, solidifying his reputation as a top-tier playmaker.
