Biography
Aldam Pettinger (30 July 1859 – date of death unknown) was an English cricketer known for his contributions to the sport during the late 19th century. A right-handed batsman and right-arm medium-fast bowler, Pettinger played primarily for the county team of Kent and made his debut in first-class cricket in 1881. Over the course of his career, he became noted for his all-round capabilities, particularly in the bowling department.
Throughout his cricketing career, Pettinger participated in a total of 76 first-class matches, in which he took 242 wickets at an average of 20.87. His best bowling figures in an innings, 7 wickets for 41 runs, exemplify his skill and effectiveness on the field.
