Alex Hicks, born on September 4, 1969, in Canada, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his prowess as a left winger. Hicks played junior hockey with the Kingston Frontenacs in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), showcasing talent that would later earn him a spot in the NHL. He was selected in the third round, 76th overall, by the New Jersey Devils during the 1987 NHL Entry Draft.
Hicks made his NHL debut in the 1991-1992 season and went on to play parts of five seasons in the league, representing teams such as the New Jersey Devils, the Anaheim Ducks, and the Tampa Bay Lightning.
