Alex Leavitt, born on January 31, 1984, in Calgary, Alberta, is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player known for his offensive skills and playmaking abilities. Leavitt began his junior career with the Calgary Hitmen in the Western Hockey League (WHL), where he showcased his potential by scoring over 75 points in multiple seasons. His strong performance in junior hockey earned him a spot in the NHL Draft, where he was selected by the Florida Panthers in the 7th round of the 2003 draft.
