Alex Petrovic is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman born on March 3, 1992, in Edmonton, Alberta. He was drafted 36th overall by the Florida Panthers in the second round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft after an impressive junior career with the Everet Silvertips in the Western Hockey League (WHL). Petrovic began his professional career with the San Antonio Rampage, the Panthers’ AHL affiliate, making his NHL debut during the 2013-14 season.
