Alexander Frolov, born on June 19, 1982, in Voskresensk, Russia, is a former professional ice hockey forward renowned for his skilled offensive play and significant contributions to the sport. Frolov began his career in the Russian Superleague with HC Vityaz Podolsk before being selected in the first round, 20th overall, by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut in the 2002-03 season and quickly established himself as a key player for the Kings.
Throughout his NHL career, Frolov played primarily for the Los Angeles Kings from 2002 to 2010, where he recorded impressive statistics including a personal best of 35 goals during the 2005-06 season. He later had stints with the New York Rangers and the KHL, notably winning a Gagarin Cup championship with HC Sochi in the 2015-16 season.
