Biography
Alexander Khavanov is a former Russian professional ice hockey defenseman, born on January 30, 1972. He began his career in the Soviet Union’s hockey league, where he quickly gained recognition for his defensive skills and offensive contributions from the blueline. Khavanov later made the transition to North America, where he played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for several teams, including the St. Louis Blues, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and the Montreal Canadiens.
