Biography
Alexander Steen, born on March 1, 1984, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player. Selected 24th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, Steen made his NHL debut during the 2005-06 season. Over his career, he became known for his two-way play, contributing both offensively and defensively while playing primarily as a left winger.
Steen's professional career spanned 14 seasons in the National Hockey League, during which he played for the Toronto Maple Leafs and the St. Louis Blues. His tenure with the Blues, which began in 2008, was highlighted by significant achievements, including winning the Stanley Cup in 2019.
