Alexei Kaigorodov is a retired Russian professional ice hockey player, born on July 29, 1983, in Moscow, Russia. Primarily a center, Kaigorodov began his career in the Russian Superleague (RSL) with Dynamo Moscow, where he showcased his talent and ability to perform at a high level. His impressive play during his early years caught the attention of NHL scouts, leading to his selection by the Ottawa Senators in the second round, 51st overall, of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
Kaigorodov made his NHL debut during the 2005-06 season, where he played for the Senators.
