Biography
Allie Thunstrom, born on April 20, 1988, in Minnesota, is a professional ice hockey forward known for her exceptional speed and scoring ability. Thunstrom began her notable hockey career at the University of Minnesota Duluth, where she achieved significant success, including being a key player in the 2010 NCAA Women’s Ice Hockey Championship team. Her collegiate performance earned her All-American honors and established her as a prominent figure in women’s ice hockey.
After her collegiate career, Thunstrom transitioned to professional hockey, playing in various leagues including the National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL) and the Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association (PWHPA). In the NWHL, she made a mark as a leading scorer for the Boston Pride, contributing to the team’s championship win in 2021.
