Biography
Amal Buddika Peiris, born on May 14, 1983, is a former Sri Lankan cricketer who represented the national team from 2003 to 2006. A right-handed batsman and right-arm medium-fast bowler, Peiris made significant contributions in various domestic competitions, showcasing his versatility on the field. He played in both One Day Internationals (ODIs) and Twenty20 matches, earning recognition for his performances during Sri Lanka's cricketing resurgence in the early 2000s.
Peiris made his ODI debut against Bangladesh on July 25, 2003, and went on to play a total of 17 ODIs, scoring 221 runs with a top score of 49.
