Amal Das, born on February 1, 1958, is a former Indian cricketer known for his contributions to the sport during the late 1970s and 1980s. A right-handed batsman and occasional right-arm off-break bowler, Das made his first-class debut for Assam in 1976 and quickly established himself as a key player for the team.
