Aminul Islam, Jr. (born April 1, 1975) is a former cricketer from Bangladesh known for his contributions as a right-handed batsman and a leg-spin bowler. He emerged as one of the pioneering figures in Bangladesh cricket during the 1990s and was regarded as one of the country's first genuine cricketing talents in the international arena. Islam made his One Day International (ODI) debut in 1999, participating in the inaugural season of the ICC Cricket World Cup for Bangladesh.
During his international career, Aminul Islam played a total of 19 ODIs and 4 Test matches, with an impressive performance that showcased his skills as an all-rounder. He scored 325 runs in ODIs, with his highest score being 83 runs against Pakistan in 2000. Throughout his career, he was noted for his strategic batting style and was recognized for playing pivotal roles in Bangladesh's early competitive matches.
