Anders Hedberg, born on February 25, 1951, in Stockholm, Sweden, is a former professional ice hockey player renowned for his exceptional skills as a forward. He began his career in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) with Djurgårdens IF before making a significant impact internationally. Hedberg's explosive speed and offensive prowess quickly established him as one of Sweden's top talents.
In 1972, Hedberg moved to North America, joining the World Hockey Association (WHA) with the New York Raiders, later playing for the Winnipeg Jets. He was a key player during his time with the Jets, contributing to their WHA championship victories in 1976 and 1978.
