André Rankel, born on August 27, 1985, in East Berlin, Germany, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his contributions to the sport in Germany. A forward, Rankel began his career in the youth teams of Young Dragons Dreseden before moving to the Iserlohn Roosters in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL) in 2002. He established himself as a notable player in the DEL over the years, particularly as a key member of the Eisbären Berlin, where he won multiple championships.
