Andranik Teymourian, born on March 6, 1983, in Osku, Iran, is a retired Iranian professional footballer known for his versatility as a defensive midfielder. He began his youth career with the renowned clubs of Tractor Sazi and then joined the senior team of this club in the 2000-2001 season. Teymourian’s notable performances at the club level earned him a place on the Iranian national team, showcasing his talents on both national and international stages.
Teymourian made his debut for the national team in 2004 and went on to represent Iran in multiple international competitions, including the AFC Asian Cup and FIFA World Cup qualifiers. He was a key player in Iran's squad during the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany, becoming the first Iranian player to compete in two World Cups when he played again in the 2014 tournament in Brazil. Throughout his international career, Teymourian earned over 70 caps and scored several crucial goals, further solidifying his reputation as a distinguished athlete.
