Andre Woodson, born on April 25, 1984, in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, is a former American football quarterback known for his record-breaking college career at the University of Kentucky. He attended the University of Kentucky from 2004 to 2007, where he became one of the school’s most accomplished quarterbacks, setting multiple school records. Woodson gained national attention for his leadership on the field and his ability to throw for significant yardage, finishing his collegiate career with 10,912 passing yards and 88 touchdown passes.
In the 2008 NFL Draft, Woodson was selected in the sixth round by the New York Giants, marking his entry into the professional ranks. Though he primarily served as a backup, he contributed to his team's success during their Super Bowl XLII victory, although he did not play during the postseason.
