Andreas Krieger, born on July 20, 1965, in East Germany, is a former track and field athlete renowned for his performances in the javelin throw. Competing for East Germany, he achieved significant success in the 1980s, claiming a gold medal at the 1986 European Athletics Championships and finishing fourth in the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
