Andrei Parfyonov, born on February 28, 1971, in Tula, Russia, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his skillful play as a forward. He began his career in the Soviet Hockey League, where he showcased his talent with various clubs, most notably Krylya Sovetov Moscow, before transitioning to the National Hockey League (NHL). Parfyonov's tenacity and offensive capabilities led him to be drafted in the second round of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils.
During his NHL career, which spanned from 1993 to 1997, Parfyonov played for teams such as the New Jersey Devils and the New York Rangers. He participated in a total of 180 regular-season games, amassing 52 points. Parfyonov was also a member of the Russian national team, representing his country in several international competitions, including the IIHF World Championship.
