Andrew Bodnarchuk, born on July 11, 1988, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, is a retired professional ice hockey defenseman. He was drafted in the 5th round, 128th overall, by the Boston Bruins in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft after showcasing his skills in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Calgary Hitmen. Bodnarchuk's solid two-way play and resilience on the ice earned him recognition throughout his junior career.
