Andrew McPherson, born on April 28, 1979, in Canada, is a retired ice hockey player known for his skill as a defenseman. McPherson's junior career began in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) where he played for the Kingston Frontenacs, demonstrating notable talent that led to his selection in the NHL Entry Draft. He was chosen in the 4th round, 97th overall, by the New Jersey Devils in 1997.
