Andrew Orpik, born on March 12, 1986, in St. Paul, Minnesota, is a retired American professional ice hockey player known for his physical style of play as a defenseman. Orpik spent a significant portion of his career in the National Hockey League (NHL), primarily with the Pittsburgh Penguins, where he was instrumental in the team's success during their Stanley Cup-winning seasons in 2009.
