Andy Brickley, born on August 8, 1961, in Melrose, Massachusetts, is a former professional ice hockey player and current sports broadcaster. He played as a right winger, known for his skilled offensive play and tenacity on the ice. Brickley was selected 80th overall by the New Jersey Devils in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft, marking the beginning of a notable career in the National Hockey League (NHL).
Brickley made his NHL debut in the 1982-1983 season with the New Jersey Devils and later played for the Philadelphia Flyers and the Boston Bruins. During his career, he participated in over 400 NHL games, scoring 81 goals and providing 134 assists. He also had substantial success in the American Hockey League (AHL), where he was known for his leadership qualities and performance, particularly with the Maine Mariners.
