Andrew "Andy" McDonald, born on August 25, 1977, in Strathroy, Ontario, Canada, is a retired professional ice hockey player known for his skilled playmaking and offensive capabilities. He played as a center and had a notable career in the National Hockey League (NHL) spanning from 2000 to 2015, during which he represented teams including the Anaheim Ducks, St. Louis Blues, and Columbus Blue Jackets. McDonald was originally drafted in the 6th round of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft by the Ducks.
