Andrew Pycroft, born on June 6, 1956, in South Africa, is a retired cricketer known for his contributions as a right-handed batsman and occasional right-arm medium-pace bowler. He played a significant role in South Africa's domestic cricket scene during the late 1970s and 1980s, representing teams such as Western Province and Transvaal. Pycroft made his international debut in One Day Internationals (ODIs) for South Africa in 1992, after the country was readmitted to international cricket post-apartheid.
Throughout his career, Pycroft gained recognition for his batting technique and reliability in the middle order. He participated in eight ODIs, accumulating a total of 173 runs, with a notable high score of 57 against India.
