Ankeet Chavan, born on October 28, 1985, is a former Indian cricketer known for his left-arm orthodox spin bowling. He rose to prominence in domestic cricket, particularly during his tenure with the Mumbai cricket team. Chavan made his first-class debut in 2006 and quickly became a pivotal player for Mumbai, showcasing his skills in various Ranji Trophy seasons.
Chavan's career reached its peak when he made his debut for the Indian national team in 2011, featuring in a One Day International (ODI) against the West Indies. His performances in the Indian Premier League (IPL), notably with the Rajasthan Royals, also garnered attention, where his ability to break partnerships and maintain economy was crucial for his team's successes. Notably, he was part of the Rajasthan Royals during their title-winning campaign in the 2012 IPL season.
