Antoine Bethea, born on July 27, 1984, in Newport News, Virginia, is a former professional American football safety. He played college football at Howard University, where he distinguished himself as a solid defensive player. Bethea was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the sixth round of the 2006 NFL Draft, marking the beginning of a notable career in the National Football League (NFL).
During his time with the Colts, Bethea became known for his intelligence on the field and strong tackling ability. He was an integral part of the Colts' Super Bowl XLI championship team, contributing to their victory over the Chicago Bears.
