Art Hildebrand is a retired American professional basketball player, born on January 12, 1930, in New York City. He played college basketball at St. John's University, where he distinguished himself as a versatile guard and led the team to significant victories during his tenure from 1948 to 1952. After completing his collegiate career, Hildebrand entered the professional arena, playing in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Basketball Association of America (BAA).
