Biography
Artem Chubarov, born on December 13, 1979, in Moscow, Russia, is a retired professional ice hockey player known for his role as a center. He began his career in the Russian Superleague (RSL) playing for Dynamo Moscow before transitioning to the National Hockey League (NHL), where he was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the 3rd round of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. Chubarov made his NHL debut in 2001 and became known for his solid two-way play and ability to contribute on both ends of the ice.
During his tenure in the NHL, Chubarov played for various teams, including the Vancouver Canucks and the St. Louis Blues, with his most notable season occurring in 2003-04 when he recorded 21 points in 70 games with the Canucks.
