Arthur Hazlerigg, 2nd Baron Hazlerigg, was a prominent English cricketer born on February 24, 1910. He played primarily as a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium-pace bowler. Hazlerigg made his first-class debut for Leicestershire in 1929 and went on to have a notable domestic career, representing the county until 1949.
Throughout his cricketing career, Hazlerigg was recognized for his reliable batting and effective bowling. He achieved his highest score of 151 runs against Kent in 1932, showcasing his talent and determination on the field. Over the course of his career, he amassed over 4,000 runs and took more than 300 wickets in first-class cricket, contributing significantly to his team's successes.
