Asanka Gurusinha, born on September 16, 1966, in Colombo, Sri Lanka, is a former cricketer who represented the Sri Lankan national team primarily as a middle-order batsman. He made his debut in 1989 and played a crucial role in the team's rise during the early 1990s, displaying remarkable skills in both One Day Internationals (ODIs) and Test matches.
